I was fully in it for the political discourse instead of the romance. It was so crazy to me that it took so long for the romantic subplot to drag me in, but the plot against the crown?? I was instantly drawn in. Down with the royals, y’know?? Anyway, the politics made it jump .75 stars, so solid 3.75.

no that was insane i loved this story so much. Tristan was crazy and sara bee was a badass this was way more than a dark romance the story was epic and there was like one big shock in near the end that i so didn’t see coming and i loved it.. idk i just really liked the royal story and the rebels and sara bee and her relationship with her family and her motivations and then tristan and little simon it was just such a well rounded story and also when stories have two povs i always prefer one of the povs and i loved both in this story i was never just wishing it would get back to the preferred pov both were equally enjoyable to me

Couldn't get as into it as Hooked and Crossed, didn't fully finish it, maybe if I get the physical copy and sit down to read it instead of listening to it I might enjoy it more.

Very good. Highly recommend for romance lovers. Some Lion King vibes, but Scare wins! I didn't care for the epilogue ending, but overall it was great!!
