Light, nostalgic, easy read. Doesn’t need the recipes.

Easy listening as an audio book whilst doing jobs around the house. It was very down to earth, honest, relatable and something that i think most people can take something away from it.

Funny stories go women

i feel bad giving a rating to a memoir bc it feels like im judging this person's life, not their writing skills. then i read this line;

The lyrics of the Smiths’ ‘Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now’ is the most neatly worded explanation of the reality of life and summarizes the initial optimism then crashing bathos that is the first five years of one’s twenties with elegant concision.

immediately i had to give this book five stars for its accuracy, wit and pure emotions. its perfect.
