Although not quite as suspenseful as Virals, still a great read. :) I can't wait to read the next one. As a kid who moved around a lot, I really understood one of the central dilemmas in this novel.

A good follow up to book 1! I was super confused by the title at first because I assumed it meant seizure like epilepsy but it was seizure like capturing with force. Tori and the guys are back again ready to solve a mystery, get into loads of trouble and maybe by the skin of their teeth or their canine skills pull off saving the status quo?

As soon as I had finished Virals I knew I had to read the next instalment so I was so happy when Random House sent me Seizure.

Once again the Virals are up to no good, this time its hunting down Anne Bonny's treasure to help save their parents jobs and keep them together on the island. With lost artifacts and bits of clues the Virals piece it all together and set out to find the treasure. But all is not so easy, with hidden tunnels full of booby traps, secret agendas and stalkers, will they survive to find the treasure.

I really enjoyed reading this series and love how the Virals have grown into their powers, they may not be able to control their flare 100% of the time but they certainly know how to make them work, which ensued lots of laughter on my behalf. Tori however has flares at unwanted times, risking their secret being found out, but is also able to be the only one to communicate telepathically with the others which I think is awesome.

From the moment I started Seizure I was hooked and managed to finish it in two days. It was easy to immerse myself into their world and found it easy to relate to the characters and their desperation at being split up. The suspense of what was going to happen had me on tenterhooks and I never guessed who was doing what to try to thwart them.

Kathy Reichs has once again wrote a book that I could not wait to start and did not want to finish. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series and plan to make a start on her others books to pass the time until book 3.

Wow! This was National Treasure for the YA crowd! What an excellent book. The first book was ok, but this one, the second, was quite good. This was a real page turner. Loved it!

The first one of this series was interesting, not bad for young adult. This one I had to make myself finish. Just a little too over the top with continues unrealistic situations and complete unsupervision of all four. Going to be a while before I read anymore of this series. On the other hand, its a super fast read if you are flying somewhere or laying on a beach, its easy to read.

Young Tory Brennen and the other Virals are still learning about their powers when the university that all their parents work for faces budget cuts. All four of the Virals face leaving Charleston when Tory hears about a Woman-Pirate's treasure that could be somewhere in the area.

Sequels that surpass their predecessors are rare, but I think Seizure does this beautifully. I think Reichs has really come into writing YA and is more comfortable with the audience. I love the historical mystery and drama of the book. There's even a connection to 'Aunt Tempe' that I loved and a Bones mention that made me giggle.
