The cat is out of the bag because Yamase has finally found out about Aki and Tomoharu being lovers. It was bound to happen eventually, especially with them kissing in the police box (It's a small police station manned by only a couple of police officers) and Aki there all the time. He took it quite well, after avoiding Tomoharu for a few hours because he didn't know how to bring it up. He was only worried about Aki being a Yakuza Member, not him being a guy. It may help Yamase with his little Kisaragi problem! It was also hilarious watching a drunk Tomoharu, he turned into a sadist, according to Aki anyway! We also get to see him being all badass in his Judo uniform, showing some judo instructors to not underestimate him.

Aki and Tomoharu have been dating for over a year and they’ve been through a lot, from kidnapping to cross-dressing, to meet both of their families to travelling together. Most of the people around them are OK with their relationship but Tomoharu’s senpai founds out about their relationship when he comes to the office and he sees them sharing a cute kiss.

Now, apparently being gay is almost the same as committing a crime, so it’s quite shocking to him. Despite this, he’s chill about it because Aki’s not really a bad guy (though he is the son of a mafia boss), and only asks for them not to be lovey-dovey around each other there, at least.

On the other hand, we have him dealing with his own situation: Kisaragi has a crush on him but they’re taking it slowly, for the time being. Senpai buys him a b-day present and I think that he realized how much a person can change you, even if you’re not gay per se.

In the last chapters of the volume, they have a festival in which Aki wears a yukata while Tomoharu has to work. Still, Aki gets to enjoy himself and tastes some food that kind of gets him excited. And guess who’ll have to take care of his body?

I’m truly glad I’m re-reading this with a friend because I can fangirl over Tomoharu without feeling guilty of having a crush on a fictional character. This story is just amazing from all points of view and I know I sound like a broken record, but I’m truly glad Tomoharu and Aki found each other. They make me believe in true love!

I can't wait to read the next volume!

Ça reste un plaisir de suivre les aventures de Ueda et Aki. C'est aussi intéressant de voir Kisaragi et Yamase dans les balbutiements de leur propre relation.
