It is legal to read only chapters that are actually useful in a non-fiction book, rather than sticking through the whole book? đź«Ł
I read the full first 10% when I realized only the chapter beginning with “everything I know about love…” and one other are the sole purpose of why I wanted to read the books. The other are of Dolly telling her love life, and I truly don’t want to waste my precious time.

I wouldn’t say I necessarily related to everything in this book given I’m neither white, nor privately educated, nor single for the last 7 years. But for my sins, I absolutely adored this book anyway. It was so funny, so honest and such a delight to listen to! I especially loved the evolution of the chapters on everything she knew about love as she became older and wiser. It made me feel better about being on the wrong side of 25, and appreciative of the friendships I’ve made along the way.

I surprisingly really liked this! I wasn't sure when I started, but I was intrigued by all of the details. It was an insight into a life and lifestyle that's so very different to mine and I appreciated the raw and honest insights Dolly provided, even if I found myself balking at times. Listening to Dolly narrate the book herself added to the experience.
