Ive not really figured out my rating system but I don't know at this moment it feels like a 5.
This book feels like I'm chatting to my best friend and older sister. There is advice, anecdotes about people you've never met and experiences that you can just  imagine being apart of, that can only really be given by an older sibling.
I feel so inspired to live my life to the fullest and to I don't know download tinder or something and at the same time to pick up a pen and write a book, one that people might relate to like I did to this.
It is very much about love but also about being a millennial which at first I didn't really know if I would relate to but surprisingly her experiences translate quite well to mine when it came to "childhood" or well the things I feel now.

Read this on my period and it had me reflecting on my romantic and platonic relationships hard. Just called my therapist to make an appointment after ghosting her for a full college semester. I took a lot of good from Alderton’s wisdom, many perfect anecdotes for my notes app, but can’t help but feel sad after finishing because it’s a memoir. Real life, not a fantasy and a reminder that life is flawed and not wrapped up all nicely with a bow on top. Go after life. That’s my takeaway.

Starts out as a light hearted chaotic story of a girl growing up yearning to finally be an adult & all the trials and tribulations of youth & friendship & university & discovering relationships, casual sex, drinking, etc. Topics that all 20-something women can relate to. And she speaks like you’re her friend too. Later on she has revelations and makes some life changes and has a much different outlook on life. I found the book to be happy, sad, inspiring & relatable. I love following her lists of “everything i know about love at (age X)” and seeing how the lists morph and change as she does. In the end, all types of relationships are beautiful and should be held close.
