I enjoyed the multiple perspectives but I definitely enjoyed Bartimaeus's POV more than Nathaniel's, but overall this was a very enjoyable read.

Oh my god. I read this book ages (I mean ages, like when it came out) ago and I remember absolutely loving it. Rereading it multiple times. You know, that sort of thing.
A lot of times books like that disappoint me when I read them again. That's not a bad thing, that means that I read them during the right time of my life. Not, however, this one.
I absolutely love this book. There were so many things that I vividly remembered, it seemed as if I read this book only yesterday. At the same time, I have absolutely no idea what will happen in the next books. It's perfect!
This book has everything - a good plot, interesting characters, character development, witty dialogue, fantastic worldbuilding - I could keep going, but this would be endless. If you're into fantasy, definitely pick up this book. It's really, really worth it.
