Wow! This book was spectacular. The realization that Laura and the others make about the mindset about done of her countrymen is quite sad, but the book is very well written. An existing mystery with a lot of trusts and turns. I'm looking forward to reading now by this author.

This book was so good!! My boyfriend gifted me it for Christmas and I started reading in the new year. Between school and the craziness of life it took me longer to read than usual, but it was such a good read!

I hadn’t been expecting the switching perspectives and for a while it took me time to get into each read. However, once all the perspectives and people started coming together it was hard for me to put it down!! I really really enjoyed this book, even more than I had expected to! I’m a big reader of WWII novels but this one was so unique and interesting. Very unlike anything else I’ve read

Would not recommend or read again.. darker and scarier than I would have liked. I liked how it was set in Sweden, but that’s about all I liked..

At first, I really wasn’t sure why I picked this book up, but after the first 100 pages I couldn’t put it down. What made it all the more fascinating was its disturbingly possible premise.

Are neutral parties ever really neutral? This exploration of the movement to create a Swedish Reich is terrifying and unique among WWII fiction.
