I found this book super uncomfortable and toxic to read. Like a coho copy. Not for me.

It’s been almost a week since I’ve read this crazy beautiful story and still can’t get my thoughts together to write a proper review.
It’s about a beautiful love, with heartbreaking moments and great characters. Nothing is perfect in this life and most of the time we take decisions with our heart first and that starts the rollercoaster of emotions and events that we just have to deal with it and accept what happens and live with our decisions.

this book kept me on my toes. i never knew who she was going to choose but i loved every second of it
Ok this is my first from Ella Fields AND I AM HOOKED!
I lost way too much sleep over reading this. What an addictive emotional story - where I honestly felt connected to every character.
This story follows Stevie, who falls for her brothers best friend and band mate, Everett, the mysterious handsome neighbour from across to street. Only to find he also has fallen for her. They have a secret love relationship behind her brothers back in their teen years - for it only to be delayed when Everett gets the opportunity to go on tour with the band. This causes a riff between Stevie and Everett as Stevie continues on her life without Everett, and Everett finds himself turning to alcohol and other women to distract himself.
Jump forward to over a year later, and Stevie is at college where she meets Aiden.
Aiden is everything a woman needs. Handsome, kind and loyal - For the first time in over 5 years, Stevie finds herself falling for someone that isn’t Everett. Aiden and her become best friends that slowly commences into romance that is strong and stable. But in the back of her mind, Everett is still there.
Everett then of course returns and wants Stevie back. Creating love triangle drama for Stevie, whose heart is with Aiden at the time of his return.
I’ll be honest - I got so annoyed at Stevie at times. She had two boys loving her and she still whined (haha)! But the epilogue was brilliant and I definitely think she made the right choice.
5 Stars.

gahhhhhhhh i didn't know why i finish it when it's so frustrating, girlie only personality is loving flowers and two men at the same time.
one of the men is a grade a asshole that doesn't deserve a second third fourth chance whatever, and the other dude is way too sweet and she doesn't deserve him (also kinda insta love-y if you ask me) and i don't feel their chemistry kinda.
anyway, one of the hero kept making mistakes and leaving heroine and he keeps coming back when heroine is with another hero !! like the audacity, this jerk has. i know you're her first love BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN YOU CAN WALK ALL AROUND HER LIKE THAT.
heroine is weak, and will sway with a couple of tears and some cheesy lines like HhHhHh girl get a grip, is the d that good?
also one of the hero has way too many baggage and he's being an ahole about it, making it his personality trait. i hate him.
there was a miscom, which was just one of the hero being a jerk.
also heroes always leave her when things get hard like ???? i'd want my men (yes plural cuz this love triangle shit) to fight for me, communicate with me not just leave me standing alone crying ugH
while writing this it makes me mad bc ugh why did i read about heroes that i wasnt even rooting for and heroine that needs to grow a backbone.
also it has that one trope that i'm not a fan of.
what i like,
the first 20% of the book (brother's bestfriend trope let's go)
Adela (heroin bestfriend, always there but we don't really know anything about her lol)
heroine's family (so supportive but i wish they can smack some sense into her brain instead of always supporting her unwise decisions)

this was rlly good even though stevie didn’t choose who i wanted her to. the angst was outta this world
About 70% thru this book, I cried and felt like if I could just scratch my skin off my body could expand and the feeling inside would fit. I can only say that this book is worth every emotion it pulls from you. It’s so well written and paints the pictures of their lives perfectly. I found the following to be so true.
“When things get hard, you don’t run away, and you don’t give up. You plant two feet into the ground, remember the roots you’ve grown, the life and love you’ve nurtured, and you fight.”
