Worth reading for all GMs, even if they have no interest in running this system. The philosophy of "play to find out what happens" is great advice for anyone running a more casual game.

An incredible RPG with such interesting yet accessible mechanics. I'm looking forward to GMing this very much.

Looks like a fantastic game system with a richly developed world and a lot of care and attention put in to player and GM best practices, which is always amazing.

A fascinating setting that seems a touch complicated rules-wise from just the read through, but characters have been made and a score date has been set, then I will re-review

It took me forever to read this, but I have to say that I haven't read any recent RPG that has the same elegance or even approach to the ruleset. Blades in the Dark is a narrative game, but with a very complex ruleset that is incredibly intimidating. At the same time it is full of player and GM best practices that I find useful for any game.

One of my highlights was the setting section. There's not a whole lot of setting. Just a brief hint at the world at large, and an overview of all quarters of Doskvol, and all factions at work. And yet the little that's there is so evocative and makes me so excited to play in this world.

I think it's a revolutionary way to play dark heist games, and I can't wait to finally dip my toes into this game for real. Despite still being intimidated by all the rules!
