Strangely addictive despite the poor writing. All characters were paper thin, the plot twists generally unsurprising and sometimes corny (Trojan horse… really, sir? Really?), the virus worked really strangely and there was so much unnecessary, gratuitous gore. But I read it all regardless, all the eye-rolling aside lol. Fast food typa book

I quite liked this book and could fairly read in one day, I'm sure.  The ending was confusing, to say the least as I thought it was a stand-alone.  Hopefully more is revealed in the other books of the series.  I did love the different and ever-changing aspects of the virus.  It makes me wonder just how much change will eventually happen.

I didn’t like it. Terrible writing and the author clearly struggles with writing characters and dialogue. Unnecessarily gory. Could have had more potential.
