A sad story of a bright girl, killed by the horrors of Holocaust and war. This could also be a coming of age story because of how much Anne changes throughout 2 years in the Annex. Really eye-opening and heartbreaking story.

Very interesting and very sad especially the afterword. I learned and read parts of this in school, but never the whole thing. I do have to say don’t go into this expecting like an action packed diary because it’s not it’s this poor girls diary where she shared her preteen/teenage thoughts.
