A slow but straightforward love story. Personally I was not a big fan of the characters or of them as a pair. It felt like a tired trope: skinny, conventionally attractive Filipina falls for chubby but smart Filipino guy. But I suppose Arre did a good enough job of making them feel real.

You may also get more from the story if you read Tagalog. There is a lot of Tagalog and since I don't speak or read the language, there were many places where I didn't fully understand what was happening.
