Oof this one took me a long time to get through. Although I LOVED his snarky, fabulous personality and writing style, I just didn’t find the actual stories that interesting.

im not even like that obsessed with it but i guess im having a "i feel seen" moment. fellow Baltimorean attempted New Yorker had to get tf out of New York and wind up back in Baltimore type beat. I also really like his reflections on the intersections of Blackness, the LGBTQ community, and faith. Which is something I've always been looking for in a way I think!

Funny! Some great laugh out loud moments and inspiring wisdom around love, family, religion. I really like RET’s perspective and humor. Like his second book a bit more, but really enjoyed this one.
