I expected this book to start off from the cliffhanger of book 1, but was pleasantly surprised that a whole new story unfolded before Lily came back into the picture. A quick, satisfying read with a storyline that kept my attention.

this reminded me of the tv series the sinner. I don’t think it was as good as the first and i found myself fading in and out of the story 🤷🏻♀️
