I remember reading the TKWK and finishing it with a “woah”, so when Peter announced another book I was super excited. I can’t say I had the same feeling after reading this one but I was still intrigued. I would say the beginning didn’t hook me at first, but the middle-third of the book really had me intrigued

So I didn’t read the first book so feel like I missed a bit on the relationship development, but overall enjoyed this book and liked the plot
It was worth revisiting The Kind Worth Killing to fully enjoy this.
