Not quite as good as the first one but still a great mystery/thriller! I really enjoy Peter Swanson's writing and the development of characters.
3.5 ⭐️ It was okay. The set up was similar to AKWK and the twist was revealed very early on and not really that exciting. I enjoyed seeing Lily again, still not sure how I feel about Henry.
The audiobook was very difficult to get through due to the narrator choice for Kimball. He sounded out of breath at the end of each sentence.

Although I think it is sometimes apparent that this is a man writing the perspective of a woman, Swanson is a reliable mystery author whose style I enjoy. I know his books can be hit or miss for some people, but I haven't had a total dud yet.
Loved it! Just as good as the first. It was fairly similar to the kind worth killing but I don’t mind because I really enjoyed that one anyway.

Not as good as the first one but still a solid 3.5, rounded up. Fast paced and entertaining.

I loved how this book linked with the first one. I enjoyed the characters and plot line this one took.
