Started out slow but the ending was surprisingly good!
Was trying it out but I’m unfortunately not an audiobook enjoyer.
I can’t believe this was just sitting on my shelf, why isn’t this book more popular?! so unique and magical, I loved every second and I cannot wait for book number 2, deserves all the hype

This was a fabulous story, a mix between period romance and fae based fantasy. Loved the audio narration, perfectly performed by all. Can't wait for book 2!

I enjoyed this book, but it also left a little to be desired. I thought the concept was brilliant and I liked the characters and multiple POVs. However, it felt rushed at the end, with twists happening quickly. The writing style also wasn’t for me, with characters saying and doing things that didn’t fit in the historical context, which takes you out of immersing yourself in the world. I liked reading this book but don't think I’ll pick up the next one in the series.
