I liked some aspects here, how story was real. Beginning was strong and I feel like they got over enemies part way to sudden and lost some tension but I liked Nandy and Trice together.
Half way through I got so invested in Kyle and Shayne can they have their book please.
I really like this debut novel.

Enjoyed a cute, flirty romantic read… but this plot is litterally an exact copy and paste from the OC TV show, down to a T.

Sooooo, this book isn't horrible. BUT I really struggled with the writing and the way the characters interacted. It felt very over the top and unreal which constantly took me out of the story. I also found them to be kind of annoying to read in general even though this is a story that I should like based off of its idea.

You have two characters with a history that haven't seen each other in years and come from completely different lifestyles. There is tension between them because of this but they are forced to be around each other and overcome there differences while falling for each other. I love opposites attract and force proximity romance but this one was just NOT for me.

This is perhaps the first time I’ve ever read a young adult book and thought it was too young for me. The characters were fully teenagers, realistically so, in a way that I think a lot of YA novels don’t manage, and while I did find them aggravating or superficial at times, I do see this as a positive, in terms of writing. Tyson Trice is definitely a character you find yourself wanting to root for, and I did enjoy the ending.

Yeah, it was sure something. It did take me quite a long time to read this book I would put it off a lot. It didn’t grab my attention until probably half way.

The switch up was crazy. But I would say this is a read if you’re bored or not .

I don’t have much to say about this book. Some parts were amazing tho. So I give this a 3.8. This book doesn’t deserve one star, like you would do better??

Childhood best friends to enemies to lovers. I am here for it. They aren't the same innocent kids they once were. Tyson grew up in a bad neighborhood and has a group of bad friends that only leads to trouble. He survived a terrible family accident and now has to live in the Hills with Nandy. Nandy grew up in a wealthy upscale area. She has to keep her reputation intact. She will not let Tyson ruin her again. This was a good story about two worlds colliding.

Lol, this book is the poster child of why YA romance gets a bad wrap. These children tore my nerves all the way down. Especially that little girl. Like I always say…read this if you want, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
