Blissful Hook

Fun, not amazing but finished with no complaints. Got bored a few times but overall enjoyable. Just read a lot better hence the three stars.

I really do love a brothers best friend tropes! Also i know i read these series the wrong way around but it's so good reading it this way because it's like an insight into the characters rather than just another story
and I got all excited when Ava was pregnant knowing it's Maddox and then the Copper's introduction with Adam walking in holding him! Because I know Adam wasn't with Coopers mum so I wondered how his romance was going to work in the next book if it was going to be his mum or his actual love.

Gracie and Tyler were definitely a couple j was so intrigued to find out more about and I was really happy with how this book showed them.

This follows Tyler, a dedicated hockey player who has worked tirelessly to achieve success. When he finds himself drawn to Gracie, his best friend’s sister, he faces a dilemma. Gracie is off limits, but Tyler’s attraction to her becomes undeniable, leading to a passionate and complicated relationship.

Blissful Hook captivated me from the start. Tyler is a complex character, tough on the outside, but with depth that becomes apparent as the story unfolds. His internal struggles and growth throughout the book were portrayed authentically. Gracie is a strong, determined heroine. Her chemistry with Tyler is palpable, and their relationship evolves in a way that feels natural and compelling. The dynamics between them, especially given the brother’s best friend trope, added an extra layer of tension to the book.

I did find the timeline of the book confusing at times, and wished we could have explored some aspects a bit more, but overall I enjoyed the book and series so far.

Blissful Hook is a captivating read that I would recommend for fans of hockey romances, especially if you love the brother’s best friend trope.

I enjoyed this quick book. Lots of heavy topics discussed in this hockey romance. Substance abuse, depression, physical abuse, death.

That being said it’s a dealt with well. The Fmc is light despite her pain and it helps pull the MMC out of his darkness.
So many favourite troupes. Hockey, brothers best friend, grumpy/sunshine

I get the reasons behind the will they won’t they but I wanted them to get to yes a little sooner.
