note to future self: it doesnt get better. the second book is never the one where the author finally found even just an ounce of talent and suddenly managed to write a coherent story with compelling characters and realistic dialogue. if the amount of times i rolled my eyes could be directly translated to a currency there’d be enough to send monkeys to mars. anyone who gave this more than one star belongs in federal prison.

i’m not the biggest brothers best friend trope fan, but I deal with it. But not this one. tyler was not like-able, and don’t even get me started on gracie…. hate hate hate her. she’s THE SAME as every other “little sister” of a hokey player. she dances(OF COURSE) she’s insecure bc ppl use her to get close to her brother(OF COURSE)Maybe i’m a little biased here, because I hate when i read abt someone’s little sister after reading the older brothers book! icky
