I had semi high expectations for this just because I like Hannah cowans writing but I didn’t love this. The one thing I did really enjoy was Gracie cause she was just a fun sweet character and she reminded me a lot of adalyn which I enjoyed. Tyler got on my last nerve for so many reasons. He didn’t want to date her cause he thought he wasn’t good enough but then didn’t do anything to make himself good enough and didn’t want to cause her any trouble with his life but when she said she was open to listening he decided for her. He was possessive for no reason and actually most definitely did not deserve her. The relationship also felt like it happened really fast cause we didn’t get to see a lot of the backstory even if it did happen.

After reading the novella between this and Lucky Hit, i knew Tyler and Gracie’s romance would be fantastic! I had a great time with this sibling’s best friend romance!

What took me out a few times were the flashbacks that were the same scenes from the novella, but they were still good the second time around. Just didn’t expect that to be there

This book is a best friends little sister book and I was here for it! Gracie and Tyler are ✨chefs kiss✨ I swear I loved them just as much as Oakley and Ava! She is a woman who knows what she wants and goes for it, while Tyler is a man who knows what he wants but is scared he’s not good enough for her. Spoiler he is. The dirty mouth on him is just amazing too! He is a don’t touch my girl while she is like well stop acting up lol. She’s not scared to speak her mind and we love a sassy heroine !
