I’m in love.

I’m in love with Tyler. There’s not much more I can say on him.

Okay okay the story, got a little sidetracked. Love the storyline.. best friends sister is always a sneaky one. & I’m here for it.

I don’t know why.. but I did get an ick feeling with Gracie sometimes & some of her actions as a heroine. Sometimes I felt the badass Gracie and others I’m was like

After reading, “Lucky Hit”, I was looking forward to reading, “Blissful Hook”, which was all about Gracie and Tyler! This book had brother’s best friend/ best friend’s sister, sassy female lead, rugged, possessive male lead, some spice, cute moments, and some emotional moments as well.

Gracie was an absolute spitfire, she didn’t let anyone get in her way, and if someone was in her way, she stood up for herself, and didn’t back down without a fight. In other words, just because Gracie looked small and innocent, beware because homegirl could pack a punch (literally!). In this story, Gracie grew up a bit from the sixteen year old we previously saw, and had definitely been enjoying her single life as well as new job while living in Vancouver. After all, Gracie had every right to do what she wanted, she was a single and confident woman, but of course… brother dearest a.k.a. Oakley being the overprotective big brother didn’t want Gracie hooking up with guys and acting immature like a teenager (from his perspective). For the longest time, Gracie always had to deal with Oakley’s overbearing tendencies in her life, especially when it came to dating so you could only imagine what happened when Tyler came into the picture.

It was no secret that Gracie had a crush on Tyler for the longest time ever since she first met him. For Gracie, she had a long unrequited crush on Tyler, but obviously for Tyler, he always saw Gracie as his best friends little sister, and the fact that she was underage when they first met instantly deterred him from her. Anyways, everything suddenly changed ( a few years later & everyone grew a few years older) when the gang went on a trip to Mexico and sparks were ignited and passions were set aflame for Tyler and Gracie. Tyler started to see Gracie in a new light, seeing her in her natural element, and although he felt guilty for betraying his promise to Oakley to never pursue Gracie, he couldn’t stay away from her.

Between Tyler feeling conflicted about his growing feelings for Gracie, to Gracie finally getting the chance to pursue an actual relationship with Tyler, things progressed for them fairly quickly. The pace of the relationship wasn’t too fast, but a medium pace if that makes sense. I liked seeing Tyler work through his issues and opening himself up to Gracie especially because, I felt like there wasn’t a lot we knew about Tyler previously so in this book we got to understand his backstory and dive into his thoughts. Gracie always liked Tyler for the longest time and she did her best to express to Tyler how she truly felt about him which I found sweet especially in the moments when Tyler needed extra reassurance from her to know exactly where they stood.

This story covered a bit more emotional stuff from Tyler’s childhood/backstory to Gracie dealing with family health issues. I loved seeing Tyler being the support system for Gracie and Gracie being Tyler’s comfort as well. Both were genuinely sweet towards one another and I loved them.

Before reading this story, I had a feeling Tyler was going to be my favorite and OH MY GOSH I WAS RIGHT! I loved Tyler’s personality, something about his rugged, kinda bad boy vibe drew me in. Plus I loved seeing his possessive side come out when it came to Gracie. Umm Hello ? Yes Tyler? I would very much love for you to be my boyfriend please and thank you! Not to mention the control he liked to maintain in the bedroom… *breathe taken away* (phew) Tyler was definitely THE MAN WOO!

Once again, I highly recommend you read, “Lucky Hit”, then “Blissful Hook” and then work your way to, “Craving The Player” because the big plot twist in “Blissful Hook” plays a significant role in Braden’s book. So in a way I accidentally ruined the plot twist for myself (sigh) dang it. The plot twist was still good, but knowing what I read from “Craving The Player” took away the element of surprise for me, and I was already anticipating the “big reveal”.

Overall, this was a good book and I loved Tyler and Gracie’s relationship. Both of them made me smile, laugh especially due to Gracie’s feisty personality, and seeing all the characters interact from the previous book. This story got better the more I got into it, and I gotta say I’ve fallen for Tyler(sigh) what a dreamy possessive man. Not to mention the ending was surprising and quite the cliffhanger to end off on haha.

Blissful hook is by far the most chaotic, emotional and deep book I've read in a long time. It made me cry, it make me feel loss, must importantly it just showed me how people have got each other's backs.

The way Hannah has written the entire story is mind-boggling to say the least. It starts off slow, but it does not fail to make you mad. Mad at Tyler for being a dick to Gracie. These are my favorite characters ever.

The twist in the end just shocked the shit out of me. I love this book so much

I literally read this book in one day it was amazing!! From the second her crush was mentioned in the first book I wanted this book so bad. I was so glad to see Tyler get his happy ending and understand what was going on in his head. Amazing!!!
