Have you ever read a book (series in this case) that you have to fight the urge to restart from the beginning every time you reach the end... I've listened to this series countless times and I alllllways want to start it over again immediately. I've only let myself do it once, though. 😅

2.5 stars. It lost a lot of my enjoyment by the creepy rapey misogynistic fae part and I almost gave up reading it from the creepy teacher sleeping with her 16 yo student. If I could review the book separately, this quarter would be 1 star. But the beginning was quite good, and the end pulled together very well, and he made up for some of my earlier grievances for breaking someone's arm for being misogynistic and killing a bunch of rapists. Overall it was better than my expectations, than made me loose all faith, and then slowly won my favor back. See you in about 10 years when the third book comes out to see what I think of the series as a whole.

The story continues and my love for this series grows.

The only reason I have rated this book four stars is because I enjoyed the first book a little bit more, but perhaps that’s because it was my first encounter with this story, the excitement was fresh.

This one did not disappoint me. I am not an overly patient person, but I will eagerly await the release of the third.

If you haven’t read this series, what on earth are you doing?

I’d rate this 5 stars if Rothfuss would just release the final book in this series but alas, I have no idea how well this series will be concluded and it’s very frustrating :(

Jajajajaja #sorrynotsorry
