Good story with some lessons, but I'm confused as to why an anarchist publisher would publish a book by a communist who considers cops "class brothers" and breaking windows violent. Meh

the majority of writing from May 68 in france focuses on Paris and the influence of the Situationist International. this book is mostly removed from that, with an Algerian student who came of age during the algerian revolution writing of his time in Strasbourg, not Paris, and the revolutionary potential and failure outside the seat of power. an excellent read for those interested in the possibilities of this period and event.
