This was a heartwarming holiday read! Lexie inherits half of her estranged father’s travel company and has to work with grumpy Theo to keep the company afloat. They are complete opposites with a shared love of travel. The tension comes right off the page and keeps you reading to find out when they finally give in to the chemistry. There are multiple Christmas travel spots highlighted throughout the book as part of Lexie’s journey learning about what her father has built with his company, which I love and want to visit every single spot!. There’s enemies to lover. There’s love. And there’s self discovery! A great combination of tropes. Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

After loving Love Holly last year I was excited to pick this one up! Emily Stone has such a talent for weaving depth into these holiday romances. This book was not just a romance but it was also about grief, family, and figuring out what home means. I thought the travel company that specializes in Christmas traditions added an interesting layer. I struggled at some spots with Lexie as a character. There were also a few of the more emotional moments that I was just wanting a little bit more from. This is a holiday book that I do think has more of a year round appeal.
