The Sentry storyline was pretty fun, although the Sentry himself is super boring. It was cool seeing Avenger's Tower become a thing. Not a fan of jessica drew's coquettish pheromones thing in the first issue of this one.

Volume 2 in my Bendis Avengers reading journey. Lots of characters and my list of more comics to explore and read later is growing.

I am learning about the Sentry which is a character I know very little about, but see that there is much debate about him when I read the forums.

I am enjoying this run of comics. Without going into details and spoiling anything, I am starting to see potentical for some great story arcs begin to develop in these first 10 issues of this series.

I am also becoming a fan of some new characters that are new to me as I continue to read.

Looking forward to more in this series. Overall, I enjoyed the first volume more than this one, but this is probably due to my lack of comic book knowledge.

Bendis pulls a reverse Grant Morrison, doing a bunch of weird meta stuff in order to make a character fit easier into the typical superhero mold. Mostly succeeds despite Bendis's tendency towards page-long monologues.

I loved that it was pretty wacky. Wrapped up a little too cleanly though.

The Sentry is one of the more enjoyable characters in the Marvel Universe and this volume is a great place to get some back story on him. Not as good as Vol. 1, but still a fun volume.

Watch out though. The cover price is 14.99, and half of it is back up filler.

This is more of a 3.5 with the addition of Emma. She MADE this story. I hope she pops up more. Otherwise still unhappy with the fact that there are 6 men and only 1 woman on the team and the woman is spying on them. Sigh.
