so annoying. the characters were annoying, and contradicted themselves. the attempted at phonetics with the scottish accent, bad. also I can't stand it when people repeat stuff constantly--did you know cassie has six kids? and oh my god the word plaid over eighty times.

As someone who was born in Scotland but grew up in Canada I found the American-isms of this book to be far too cringe to even attempt to get through the first chapter. I don’t find Americans being ignorant funny, it’s highly obnoxious and I’m tired of it from enough real life experiences.
