For some reasons I like the ridiculous chaos of this book reflecting my own life. Some points of time, many actually, I wanted to be reborn as someone else or restarted my life all over again. Destruction is needed. In the darkest period of my life, I sought to self-destruction. Hurting myself helped ease the mental pain.

This is one of those rare times I think the movie was actually better than the book. 😬 Had a hard time following as I read and I just wasn’t very invested. It was interesting to see how the book and movie differ…but I’m not sure I would’ve gone on to watch the movie if I had read the book first.
