This is a thoroughly enjoyable mystery. The white supremacist angle lends menace and although there are a couple of plot points that stretch credulity, it's generally very well-written. Andi Marquette has created several interesting characters whose adventures will be worth following.

I liked this but didn't love it. There is a romance in this story, but the story is essentially about K.C. and is told in first person from her POV, plotting her various interactions in the process of helping a friend, the romance is secondary. Sage doesn't even show up until about a quarter of the way through, and has about as much 'screen time' as Chris, so there's a fair bit of lead separation. Sage is a bit of an off-beat character though, so I'm not sure more of her would have been needed.

If you prefer books where the leads are together the majority of time, then this is not the book for you. The neo nazi plot got a bit tedious after a while, but overall the character of K.C. and her interactions with the supporting characters were enough to keep me engaged.
