God, this was a good book. The way the different pieces of the mystery come together literally glued me to the book. Loved how food plays a big role in the way the family is connected.

a really lovely discovery of a read, since I wanted something more readable (because I have two books that I am currently reading & I am suffering)
have to say that the sheer number of povs kinda got on my nerve by the end of the book so much that I am craving something more linear and one big chapter after another

There are a lot of layers to this storyline. Definitely a page turner.

This story was not about race, it was about humanity. We all make mistakes, we made bad decisions that affect the next generation and we can’t go blindly through life without acknowledging this fact.

I loved this story and I felt every emotion as I read it.
