LUCAS

This book didn't merit five stars from me because it was beautifully written prose that invoked highly intelligent thoughts. No. This book received five stars because it was thoroughly enjoyable and invoked some pretty deep feels. The last three books of this series ([b:Taken at Dusk|12866426|Taken at Dusk (Shadow Falls, #3)|C.C. The first two books were light and fluffy and fun to read, but the story didn't really start to develop for me until these last three. I think that C.C. Hunter did a great job working out the whole Derek/Lucas/Kylie situation. She smoothed things over well and tied up any loose ends. The relationships in this book were so cute and I couldn't help but smile over every single sweet moment between these ships (Burnett and Holiday am I right!). Moving on from the relationships, I loved that the chameleons finally found their proper place in supernatural society. Overall, the books were light and well written. They were a great summer read and I would definitely recommend this series to fans of [b:Vampire Academy|18660669|Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1)|Richelle Mead|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1381459853s/18660669.jpg|335933] and other books of the supernatural or romance genre. 5/5 stars purely based on enjoyment and ability to invoke emotion.

It was pretty epic. An amazing last book for an amazing saga. I will definitely be checking out the Della spin-off, I'm not nearly done wanting to read about Shadow Falls!
