Fun continuation in the MN town that was created by Susan May Warren, but real enough I could feel it. I enjoyed this series and have been buying the new ones as they come out. The author did a good job!

I have read quite a few books by Susan Warren and i like her style of writing. I especially enjoy that she writes inspirational Christian books, but she doesn't beat you over the head with the Christian theme. This is the first book of the series I have read. It was definitely a very "fluffy" romance. Meaning it is a book that now I am done with it, I will probably not think of it again or remember what happened. But it was something that was good enough to want to finish.
I really enjoyed this book. Here is the full review: https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2021/08/then-came-you.html

Viven turned out to be quite a fun character in the end but I wasn’t sure in the beginning of this story. Boone is such a funny character. He doesn’t really know how to relax or chill while he needs to learn to control his anger.
Instead Boone Is determined to find out who is tormenting Viven and get to the bottom of it. It was a great read about Deep Haven and new characters too. The Deep Haven series was my favourite so I’m enjoying this Deep Haven Collection Series.

I've read many of Susan May Warren's books, I haven't read her PJ Sugar series yet. (Sadly!)
I first found Rachel D. Russell's books when I heard about Sunrise publishing from following Susan May Warren, the fact that Russell wrote an Army hero made Still the One a new favorite romance.
I've heard a lot about Boone from following lovers of Warren and I was really glad I got to "meet" him in Then Came You. He's the kinda hero that you can't help but love when there's danger about.
Vivian was a character I looked forward to finding out more about and man, oh, man! Her story, yikes... It was so good, even more fun, and a tad bit embarrassing at times which made it even better!
Notes: kisses, a stalker, some fights but no real violence, admiring the looks of the hero/heroine.
Recommdation: 18+ due to romance.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Okay, so I loved this story! It pulled me from page one and I could not put it down. I loved everything about this story, the characters, the plot and everything else. Fantastic read!
This was unexpectedly good. I enjoyed the dynamics between the MCs and the small town trope.
In the mood for a sweet romance? Look no further. Boone Buckam takes a vacation in Deep Haven, not planning on Vivian Calhoun walking into his life. He's taking a break from his job as a police detective, but when he finds out someone is stalking Vivian, he takes the case. I love the contrast in Boone trying to relax and get his life together, while Vivian ropes him into things way outside of his comfort zone. Readers will fall in love with Vivian, Boone and the whole town of Deep Haven! #TeamBoone 100%
Wow! This was SUCH a great story! I absolutely adored getting to know Boone! I hadn't read any of the books Boone had been in with PJ, but I didn't feel like I had missed too much getting to know him now in this book. I DO want to go read the PJ Sugar stories now, though!
So, I love Vivien! I can understand why everyone falls under her spell. She's has such a magnetic personality. And the book starts off with her magnetism benefiting her greatly in a very awkward situation.
The way she and Boone meet is one of the best meet-cutes I've read! From there, things go from fast to faster. lol Boone is away from the Cities for a forced vacation. It's easy to tell how he's struggling with the way his life has been going. The way Vivien looks at him, you can also tell he's in fine form!
I felt so terrible for Vivien. There's mystery and suspense to this story because it seems someone is trying to ruin her life. It seems like any time Viv gets a grasp on things going good, everything comes crashing down.
There are definitely some amusing moments in the story. Viv tries to play matchmaker at one point. That was highly amusing as a reader. To balance that out, there were some peeling back of the layers of what Vivien and Boone had each struggled with in their lives.
Needless to say, this was a VERY satisfying story! Boone and Vivien are two wonderful characters and you can't beat visiting Deep Haven whenever given the chance!
*I received the book for review. This is my personal opinion.
