What's funny is that autocorrected text messages had such a brief life. I'd almost already forgotten about them until a friend loaned me this book. I'd complained about all the serious books I'd read lately and she handed me this. I did laugh, although some of the autocorrects haven't aged well either.
This book wasn't super long, but it was funny. If I ever see it around for sale anywhere for cheap, I'll probably buy it.
Funny, but the autocorrect mistakes start to get repetitive and boring after awhile.
This and Cake Wrecks both get the prize for making me laugh until I literally cry. I can't go to this web site at work any more, because I turn into a hysterically guffawing mess. That said, having the book around to dip into is a guaranteed pick-me-up for anyone who loves typos (especially from a software that seems to have a dirty mind) and the wit it takes to overcome them.
My personal favorites (safe for work):
Do ducks have jackets? http://damnyouautocorrect.com/2625/when-moms-text/

F*cking hilarious. Heb me kapot gelachen, totally embarassing :)
Damn you, Autocorrect is a collection of texts gone awry funny because of the smartphone autocorrect feature. This book was just plain hilarious. Although I can't help wondering if this feature is really such a perv. Many autocorrect situations are believable. But, some are a little too much I'm left doubting whether a phone could be this devilish. Hmm, guess I can't find that out since I don't have a smartphone. Maybe other reviewers can clear that up.
Okay, true or made-up, it really was crazy fun.
A few that I enjoyed very much:
Scaring Mom
Person 1: Hey mom. Sorry I missed your call. I just got arrested.
Person 2: What???? What the hell happened? Are you ok? Where are you? Call me
Person 1: Oh Jesus. I didn't get arrested mom! I got a RESCUE
Person 1: The rescue dog I was thinking about getting
Person 1: Answer your phone!
Person 2: I'm going to kill you!!!!!!
(Can't blame the mother, quite a shock that was. Haha)
Finals Week
Person 1: Hi, how are finals going?
Person 2: Almost done. My testes have been really hard this semester.
Person 2: I mean my tests!
Person 1: Maybe you can talk to your father about that. Ha ha
Person 2: My testes are fine. My economics grade is another story.
Return to Sender
Person 1: Do you know Amys new address? If so please send it to me.
Person 1: I mailed her a package last week and it just came back inseminated.
Person 2: Inseminated?
Person 1: Inseminated.
Person 2: You mean undelivered?
Person 1: Yes. Inseminated.
[Don't know why, this one cracked me up :D ]
General Tso
Person 1: Can I eat your Chinese officers?
Person 2: I dont think you should eat officers. But you can have my leftovers.
And there's so much more. I also loved the first half more than the second. Maybe because, some seemed repetitive after a few times. Or maybe I was just wiped out after laughing so hard.
So yes, this is one of the most humourous books you can find. A light, quick, fun read! Highly recommended.

We have all been there right? Sent that text without re-reading what it said and then end up in a very embarrassing situation? Yip of course anyone with a smartphone has due to that pesky Autocorrect feature (Sweep Texting in the UK).
Damn You Autocorrect is a website that I am sure everyone has been. The text fails are simply hilarious and if you have been on it Where have you been hiding? Check it out trust me it totally worth it. www.damnyouautocorrect.com
The Creator of said website bring some of the best texts from the website along with some new ones that hadnt been seen before and put them into this fantastic little book. It's packed with hilarious texts and I mean "I almost wet my pants" hilarious. Split into parts you have funny and awkward texts between friends, colleagues, and my favourite part - Texts between Parents and their Kids. OMG It just too funny.
Aswell as the all the texts right at the start of the book Jillian tells the readers why she set up the website, what is autocorrect and a page full of common autocorrection that your phone does LOL.
Damn You Autocorrect is just amazingly funny and expectionally cringworthy LOL. It's a great read if you need cheering up and even though the website has tons of the embarrassing texts, the book is great to have for those nights you just need a quick laugh and easy to share with those who don't really use the internet that much.
So do I recommend this book? HELL YEAH!!! LOL. I sat last night trying to sleeping but then I would remember a text from the book and end up in stitches. However, alot of the rude and crude texts in the book so probably not suitable for young readers.
WARNING: Read at your own risk, side splitting funny and laughing so hard you might pee your pants LOL!!!!
