this shit insane

  • I never read mystery but this was actually very good!
  •  definetly was a good book to make into a movie cause the dialogue in the book feels like a movie script.
  • I đź–¤ lisbeth salander
  • i feel like I'm probably not gonna read the other books in the series but you never know

Writing—does its job.
Plot/characters—riveting plot and I enjoyed the characters. They were fleshed out well w good and bad traits. Even when I didn’t agree with their decisions, I liked Lisbeth, B, and Henrik.
Profundity—I need to think on this more. But it addresses treatment of women and mental illness and journalistic ethics so profound issues are addressed.

Intricately-crafted crime thriller that explores misogyny and systemic moral bankruptcy. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’s narrative is airtight, but because the book is so convoluted, it was challenging to wade through the first half. So much so, I nearly dropped it (for the second time). Once the book takes off though, it propels you to mach speeds. Grateful I didn’t abandon it after seeing the Vanger family tree diagram.
