Thoroughly enjoyed this, although I felt the ending was a bit abrupt.

This was so cute and easy to get through. I just wished the ending would have been more satisfying and wrapped up, since it's very open and few of the questions I asked throughout the book were answered. All in all 3.5/5

The companion to Just as Long as We're Together focuses on Rachel Robinson. This continues where JALAWT left off, and concentrates more on Rachel's family than the girls' friendship. Rachel's brother Charles has always been a pain, but thankfully he's been at a boarding school. Until he gets kicked out. Now he's back at home making life miserable for the rest of the Robinson clan. Added to the stress of Charles is Rachel's ever-mounting responsibilities: at school, the debate team, flute practice and trying to spend time with friends. Will Rachel be able to handle everything?

I liked this one by Blume. I'm glad I read JALAWT first, as its an earlier timeline. It's nice to see that "perfect Rachel" isn't so perfect after all. I only wish there was a third book focusing on Alison.

all i remember is not as good as its prequel and a cover with a photo of an annoyed brunette in a cardigan holding like a recorder. and i’m only now getting the simon and garfunkel pun.

ok it was a flute. she looks murderous and badly photoshopped. seriously google it though how was this a book cover.

Good book, although not all problems are resolved and isn’t a great ending.

"Trying to be a perfect student and friend is hard enough, but when Rachel develops a crush on her brother's tutor and lands a surprise date with Jeremy, she finds this may be a bit too much to accomplish" (From Amazon)

A great novel about friendship and crushes!
