I think I enjoyed this book more than the first two. I love split perspectives, and while I wasn’t the biggest scarlett fan in the first book, I loved her in this one.
I loved the fates even if they were mad or cruel sometimes. I liked the twist and games they would play on the characters.
my only issues with this book (and series in general)
with this book: it felt rushed. the ending especially. I think it could have played out a little more for some insight but it just felt like I blinked and it was over.
with the series: my only issue is the characters will constantly narrate plot points that have been said multiple times already. I know legend doesn’t want to love or he’d be human. I know immortals will only come back. I know certain cages will be locked forever until someone dies. I know you got left on a temple stairwell.
other than that, I might have to reread the first book and see about changing my original opinion on it.
also this ending is probably the cutest thing ever. esp donatellas last letter (squee)

This trilogy was good? I found the story to be entertaining but I saw someone else write in a review that this book in particular was overly descriptive and I can’t agree more! There should have been more dialogue and the ending was way rushed… but I enjoyed Tella and Dante’s romance (no spoilers here

So much was happening in this book! I think I like the ending and I especially love Scarlett and Julian. Some things are still kind of unanswered or vague to me but I still liked it! Such a good series, I devoured it.

Caraval is officially among my favorite fantasy romance series now! I thought there could have been another book here—just a couple of things felt rushed to me, but not so much to affect my rating. it is still beautifully written and an excellent story.

I would love to read a continuation, even if it was following entirely new characters in this fantasy world. Garber delivers an enchanting fantasy world and all the feels!!!

I didn't fully like the ending tho. Too many unanswered questions, especiall  about fates. I only like Scarlett's ending tho. And I changed my mind about Tella. I like Scarlet better than Tella now. Tho I like how strong willed she is, but in this book, too blinded. Not a fan of Tella's and Legend's love story. And Jacks, gods, Jacks is a delulu lol.
