Definitely not a book to read if you’re struggling with alcohol. I understand it as a focus of the novel but wasn’t expecting such a heavy feature. Would rather have focused more on the crime aspect. Not my favorite though the narrator was nice.

I definitely liked this one better than Lock Every Door. However, this still did not give me the chills, I am always expecting after seeing him recommended so often.

While the plot was a little far fetch for me and I honestly do not enjoy reading Riley Sagers lead female characters. His writing style is quick and easy to read. He did a great job of keeping the pace and tension throughout the whole story.

This was just another ok read for me, nothing ground shattering.

My third Sager thriller since December,  this may be my favourite in terms of technical construction. The plot builds steadily, opening up questions for the reader early on that will keep the reader guessing til the end.

Sager delivers excellent and satisfying twists, and for once a
supernatural
element that I hadn’t encountered in his previous works. He also has a knack for compelling sexual tension between his protagonist and their love interest. I just wish we’d gotten
a kiss

I can say with certainty that Riley Sager (Todd Ritter) is one of my favourite writers, and I look forward to reading more of his work.
