I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. It has a quirky sense of humor, mystery, and heart. The volume includes a variety of individual stories (cases), while having ongoing plot as well. The characters are likeable and intriguing. I also love the art style. Quite curious for the tale to continue!

Thanks NetGalley and WEBTOON Unscrolled for this arc

3.5/5 stars

I had high hopes for this, but it was a little disappointing. It was predictable and a bit cliche at times. The art was cool. I feel like this reads as a YA graphic novel, and if it was categorized as that I would've given it a higher rating, probably 4.5. If I bring this into my store I'll shelve it there, as I feel like if I were to purchase this from the adult graphic novel section I'd be disappointed with the reading level of this, I'd expect something with more substance or at least more depth. That said, it was still enjoyable and I read it fairly quickly. The mysteries were entertaining, and the cliffhanger ending makes me want to read the next installment.

A bit of “Skulduggery Pleasant at home” in graphic novel form. Enjoyable but the art varies in quality and the storytelling felt thin. Still, I think it sets up a fun setting and Icabod is a fun character. I’ll keep an eye out for more because it scratches the itch.

Think The Legend of Sleepy Hollow meets Sherlock Holmes, but in modern day. I loved the Webtoons already and I was excited to revisit this as a book.
