This was a really interesting and fun book. A little fish steals a hat from a big fish and thinks he can get away with it. And what follows is a really big angry fish following the smaller fish.

I absolutely loved the illustrations, they were really beautiful and I loved to see them.

Well I would really recommend this book to everyone!

Another great book from the hat series. This one was more sinister at the end and I was not expecting it but still really enjoyable to read. The illustrations are just what absolutely make this book for me they are just amazing and fit the style of the book so we'll.

This book is even better than it's predecessor "I Want My Hat Back." The little fish, whom the story follows, has stolen a hat. He took it off a much larger fish when he was sleeping. Throughout the story the small fish believes that he has gotten away with his crime; he believes the large fish to still be sleeping. However, the pictures tell an entirely different story. The use of the illustrations to tell a story other than what the text is saying is what makes this book so exciting to read.

The pictures in this book are done remarkably well. Klassen made cut-outs of the characters and set elements and placed them against a dark background. The high level of contrast is very eye catching.

This book is great for all ages, even for young children. The words are not too hard, but the fact that the pictures tell a whole different story is what makes this book great for older ages as well.
