Harry Potter and the order of CAPS LOCK RAGE. The supporting characters are there to process the title character's emotions for him. Somehow the race that is enslaved is happy to be enslaved and wanting to free the slaves is viewed as silly.

“You know, Minister, I disagree with Dumbledore on many counts...but you cannot deny he's got style...”

This book I have been DREADING! The size of this book scared me completely! 807 pages! I felt like, at times, the book definitely didn’t need to be 807 pages, and could have portrayed the storyline in 600 pages.

The Order of the Phoenix, I feel, set up a lot of the plot for the final books. There was a lot of information given in this book that kept the storyline going throughout.

I have watched the films of all the Harry Potter franchise and loved them but reading the books and watching the films is always so different. At times I felt like I was slugging my way through this book but at times I couldn’t put it down. I loved them but divulge into Sirius and Harry’s relationship and hated the moment when he died! Although, I felt there wasn’t a lot of storyline given when he did die.

This book saw the introduction of one of my favourite characters in the films, Luna! Luna was even more whacky in the books and I honestly loved seeing her name come up in chapters.

I look forward to reading the rest of the series! 4⭐️

Still a good series (and by an unknown nameless anonymous author crazy how the books just suddenly appeared one day, my theory is that they were written by Emma Watson) but anyways it’s giving trying to reach the word-count, I mean damn this book did not have to be so long

My blood was bowling. So many frustrations. I actually felt like a teenager again. What they went through is relatable, not the killing ofcs. Love, rebellion, fear, stress, grief, etc

I cried when our good dog was killed.

I was frustrated. I felt it all.

I was glad finally at the end of the book we received some form of closure. We needed it so badly.

Another happy part is how the twins stayed true to themselves. I finally understood and saw how important they are and how much I love them.

I don't believe I will ever hate a character as much as I did that pink evil twat.

The adults frustrated me yet I could understand them and agreed they were mostly right.

So many things could be avoided with better communication.

Also...that prophecy...how horrible..
It could have been Marcel Lubbermans. Marcel is such a wonderul and growing character in the books.

Lastly I love how the order of the phoenix stood up for Harry against the Duffelingen. Finally someone speaks up.

Parts of it are SO stupid but other parts are so great?? (i own an old copy, so jkr gets 0 cents out of me) I was honestly really fascinated by the way the story weaves together totally normal teenage problems (sports, bullying, dates, exams, school rules, adults' contempt) and Harry's life-and-death Voldemort-related problems. She avoids this trap of like, "Harry's not a normal teen, he's got BIGGER problems" and shows how ALL of the things the gang struggles with feed into each other. And eventually, the good adults' contempt for the teens is their downfall.
