I found this a lot more emotional than i thought it would be. Everyone had told me it was “really funny” but I didn’t find that to be the case. I felt that even Bob Mortimer found the opening half of the book hard going. He tells us that he isn’t a good actor and that comes through in his reading of this. He only comes alive in the second half of the book, when he starts to tell of his adventures with Jim (Vic Reeves) Moir.

That said, it is still a good book.

Love Bob Mortimer, the audiobook hearing him tell his own outlandish and sometimes heartbreaking stories is a must for this read.
