And another Robin "dies" in this series.

C'mon Batman when are you going to admit that having teenage boys follow you around in brightly coloured outfits while you dress all in black is not child endangerment!?

Oh and Batwoman fights her dad on the SHIELD helicarrier, while he fights the definitely non-existent League of Shadows (as non existent as the Court of Owls, for example)

There's some really good stuff here, and some material and ideas that are pretty 'nah.' From the cover, I'd assume Clayface would be one of the villains, and that there'd be some big mysteries and detective-ing. Wrong. For some reason I still can't figure out, Batman decides to include Clayface in his new team, led/trained just a little bit by Batwoman Kate Kane. There's not much mystery solving or team tactics in this book. There IS a huge reveal about a character that's probably been developing since 2009, and might upset some readers (and make perfect sense to others).

This was a really great Bat-Family story. I enjoyed this more than I Am Gotham, for sure. I appreciate the allusions to Scott Snyder's work, without being derivative. Of course people would want to emulate Batman.

Quite good! I like the team dynamic, even if I'm not entirely sure who everyone is.

I was really exited to read this and I’m happy to say it met my expectations, I think the beginning betrayal truly came out of nowhere but the conflict had enough time to flesh itself out which I appreciate, I really liked the focus on Tim Drake since I learned a lot more about him, and hope the next volumes flesh out more of each character since I only new the basic things about each character, I don’t really like the cop out death of Robin even though I knew he was going to survive but hot take here I prefer when characters get resurrected that’s just barely surviving or at the very least if they barely survived put them in a coma or make them go to physical therapy, overall great read which I ready in a couple hours in just one day which is unheard of for me

Batman assembles a team consisting of Red Robin, Batwoman, Spoiler, Orphan, and Clayface, which is a hell of a roster. The story is pretty neat too. Above average bat-book.
