"A sweet and funny story about love and work"
Sweet yes... Funny, in places... Laugh out loud? No. Riveting story? No.
But it did make me physically annoyed, in a good way. I felt for the main character, then felt for his partner. I love the message and I love that it is true in the fact Mike shows us that it is possible to love someone totally but not want to spend every second together.
In the end was a short read I started whilst I was bored at work ironically (I work in a library) and I enjoyed it for that reason. Fun read that had a nice resolution at the end.

Mike Gayle can be a bit hit and miss for me - this one was most definitely a miss.
