Probably my favorite in the Mafia Wars series! They are all great though. On to the last!

For a discord read. It is way too long for a mafia romance. Some good smut but ugh so much detail and it goes on forever

the best in this series, gratuitous sex, gang violence and story heavy

Loads of sex. POV switches between chapters consistently happen after a cliffhanger in the previous chapter. Skimmable after the first quarter. Also not a fan of main antagonist pov chapters. Would read more from this world but the dudes in this one weren’t very distinguishable from each other after the first half.

Edit: I have read most of the books in the rest of the collection/series and this is by far the best. I think the chapter cliffhangers made me angry and resentful in this book but it completes itself in the end. On second thought it is well laid out, the characters are well developed, and the story and plot are thought out. I like Anya quite a bit. If you’re new to RH or Mafia or Bully or Dark romances, I WOULD NOT START HERE. You might not like it at first it because it goes all in with all these things. As for me, I realized it gave me a taste for this and now that I’ve read enough, there isn’t another book within this specific genre that can compare.

SPOILERS

Ten years ago the mafia families came together and made a peace treaty, the terms of this treaty are simple, the daughters of the families are married to men of the other families.
Russian mob princess Anya, is set to marry the king of London Benny Butcher. On her wedding day she ends up marrying Benny’s twin brother Danny.
She also spends a lot of time with Danny’s enforcer and Anya bodyguard, Frank and right hand man Church.
Anya is a strong, determined, opinionated, tough, woman and she refuses to stay in a cage and lose herself.
But being with these men she starts to feel something she never thought she would.

I liked this book, I haven’t read a mafia book before where it was a why choose situation, I really did like that aspect of this book it was obsession, possession, hurt her and you die times three. It did feel a bit long at times, I found myself skimming some of the pages. While I did love all the relationships I think Churchy is my favourite but with a why choose I can take them all.

I LOVED THIS Book!! I’m kind of mad at myself for reading this one first because it has blown all the other GREAT stories of the series out of the water! The audio narrators were awesome!!

Fantastic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love these authors so much, I always feel swallowed whole by any world they create and leave with such a book hangover and this book was no exception.
I haven't read any others in this series but I might like to read about Anya's brothers.
This book was seriously good.
I loved all the characters and is it wrong that I kinda felt really sorry for Danny by the end? The few glimpse into his POV really changed my thoughts. He was really unwell. It didn't make him redeemable AT ALL but it made me pity his character.
Church was so funny and fun to read, Benny was the kind of dominant male you love to read about, Frank was intriguing, and I love how strong Anya was while still holding so much vulnerability too.
Side note, I laughed sooooo hard while reading about Frank changing that kitty litter, it reminded me of a father changing his babies first poopy nappy/diaper. Hilarious.
