Good wrap up to the story in Flawed. (I received an electronic copy of this from the publisher in exchange for an honest review)

Not quite as good as the first, but still an interesting duology in the YA dystopian genre.

This is the second and final book in the Flawed Duology.

This picks up right where Flawed left off, but it was a bit disappointing for me. I really enjoyed the first book, but this one was boring in my opinion. I didn't have the same tense feeling I had while reading the first book. I wasn't the biggest fan of the love triangle, and I wish it hadn't been included. I wish Carrik and Celestine's connection had been more of a platonic situation surrounding them both going through a traumatic experience with one another, but alas... we had to throw the insta-love in full force. I did like the familial relationships between Celeste and her family, it was nice to see supportive parents and siblings. The ending wrapped up a little too nicely for my liking, but it was still enjoyable.

Overall, it was a good conclusion to the duology, but a tab underwhelming.

characterization was spot on. feelings can be very fickle when you’re 18. it isn’t crappy writing or rushing things it’s an accurate portrayal of being confused about life and love and your place the world as you come into adulthood. would be 5 stars but i hate the way carrick’s eyes are described and i think art is stupid.

This book, was absolutely brilliant!
It flowed lovely from the end of the first book, despite me having to wait for it to be released and then trying to find somewhere that sells it. It was written so well and I finished it in a few hours (due to having a long car journey). Honestly, this book could not have any faults, it was engaging and interesting with a little spice of romance (not the cheesy kind).

Absolutely loveddd this duology! Made me sacrifice my sleep haha

Weirdly enough, I didn't love it as much as the first book. I think I kept reading (or in my case, listening because audiobook) because I needed to know how it all ended. Cecelia did a brilliant job either way! The Flawed books were the first time I'd read Fantasy YA fiction so great start for me. Also sidenote: I fell in love with Carrick!!
