This is the story of an artist and the wife that betrays him, a present interwoven with the echoes of an unsolved murder in the past. This thriller had a couple plot twists I really didn’t see coming, but the poor pacing felt like it did the plot a disservice. I thought the writing and the translation were both beautifully done. I was left with some questions that never got answers, but I know this was probably the point given the theme of an unsolved murder — I’m just demanding, and that’s on me.

I’d recommend this to fans of thrillers or those looking to read more well-translated pieces.
