I hate leaving a series unfinished but I can feel myself getting into a reading slump. I am not invested in the story, and continuing to read it would be a waste of time.

The relationships between the characters weren’t realistic enough to make them believable. It made the whole book feel off. It had potential and I did really like the resemblance to the Arabian Nights.
