I was so surprised by how much I liked this book. I don’t like country music and I don’t read many books where the main character is a man. However, I really appreciated Colton’s journey and struggles. I thought the way the author wove in the gun violence and alcoholism storylines was good. This book has so many different things going on but I really liked it. I especially loved the back and forth in time and the farm to table restaurant and the love story.
