Still figuring out what I think about this book! I'll update later... It is definitely a great read for Halloween time! :)

This was a very interesting book -- had a brief ending and the pacing + writing was a little off at times. There were a lot of implied mentions of (tw) sexual abuse.

I liked the ambiguity of the story. Everyone can make their own interpretation — I have my own — and it was a solid read.

if I hadn’t seen bly manor I wouldn’t have a CLUE what was going on. honestly pretty amazing how complex the show is compared to the book. it was cool to see the origins of one of my favorite shows but I would never recommend or reread it… that being said I didn’t hate it.
